As the Plan Sponsor for the Pension Plan for Employees at ORNL (the Plan), UT-Battelle is required to prepare an Annual Funding Notice (AFN). The AFN includes important funding information about the Plan. This notice also provides a summary of the Plan’s investment policy and rules governing the benefit payments guaranteed by the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), a federal agency. This notice is for the plan year beginning January 1, 2023, and ending December 31, 2023. Review the cover letter and the complete funding notice.

Form 1095-C is available upon request. The IRS has provided guidance for self-funded medical insurers, giving us a reprieve from mailing out 1095-C forms to anyone that was not a full-time employee any month during the calendar year. You can request to receive a copy of your 1095-C form by sending an email to [email protected] or mail a written request to: ORNL Benefits, PO Box 2008, MS 6465, Oak Ridge, TN 37831-6465.
